This is the personal blog of Batuhan Baş. This page explains what data the site collects and how it is used.

Data collected

Your email address (only if you subscribe to the newsletter); your name, email and message (only if you use the contact form); a hashed, non-reversible form of your IP address (to prevent duplicate likes and spam); and anonymous page-view counts.

How it is used

To send the newsletter you asked for, to reply to your messages, to prevent duplicate likes and abuse, and to see which posts are read. No advertising and no profiling.

Service providers

The site runs on Cloudflare (hosting & CDN), Render (API server) and MongoDB Atlas (database), and uses Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection on forms. These providers process data only to operate the site.

Cookies & local storage

Only functional storage is used: your theme (light/dark) and language preference, saved in your own browser. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can request access to or deletion of your data at any time. Newsletter emails always include an unsubscribe link.
